Sharia Supervisory Board
Dr. Amirsyah Tambunan is an active lecturer of State Islamic University of Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Faculty of Islamic Affairs from 2010 - present. And became a review board member and an advisor for the drafting of sharia and syariah banking laws in 2008 to the House of Representatives. Dr. Amirsyah completed his bachelor's degree program in 1989 at the University of IAIN Medan faculty of Islamic Dakwah Communities; in 1997 continued with the graduate program in UIN Jakarta with study program of Islam. Dr. Amirsyah obtained a Doctorate degree in 2007 at the Islamic University of Jakarta with a Doctorate of Islamic Studies program. He is very active in attending seminars and trainings on financial sharia. Dr. Amirsyah is an active member in several syariah financial institutions in accordance with the existing fatwas and regulations.
