Jakarta (20/8) - Commemorating the 76th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia in 2021, PT PFI Mega Life Insurance held a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event. This activity aims to hand over a number of aids to COVID-19 grave diggers located at TPU Rorotan, Cilincing, North Jakarta.
The delivery of CSR assistance, which is called “CSR Merdeka”, was accepted by Bp. Sukino, who is the Head of the Rorotan TPU, and then distributed to 100 COVID-19 grave diggers in the area. The assistance provided was in the form of basic necessities, masks, and vitamins. It is hoped that this assistance can support workers to stay healthy.
"We really feel and understand how difficult it is to carry out activities these days. Given that the COVID-19 pandemic is not over, it is certainly a reminder for us to be able to help others, especially to those who are dealing with COVID-19 directly. We give this assistance to them, the COVID-19 grave diggers in Rorotan. We really hope that this assistance can help them stay healthy and fulfilled. Finally, we hope that we can all unite to get through the COVID-19 pandemic well," said Head of Corporate Service Division, Mita Rumsari.
